Description
Stony Stratford became famous in the Middle Ages as a roadside town, where travellers could be cared for in every respect. Successive Kings of England, from the time of King John to King Henry VIII, were visitors and it was from Stony Stratford that Edward IV rode out one day in 1464 to court his future queen, Elizabeth Woodville. 19 years later the town was the stage for a coup by his youngest brother, Richard. Stony Stratford is a picturesque town, as well as being rich in history and Alicja and Bryan have collaborated to bring together this fine collection.
