Description
There New Inn, which opened shortly after the Grand Junction canal was built in 1800 is now the oldest inhabited building in the district. It was built to service the canal trade, but the development of the railway town of New Bradwell placed it in an urban environment. Bryan DSunleavy traces the changes over the centuries with interesting anecdotes that highlight its remarkable history.
